Author: Shel Holtz Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message: Sure. I have two sites. One is http://www.holtz.com and the other is http://www.netgain.org. They are not related -- one is for my business, the other is for a consulting consortium of which I am a part. Both sites are hosted on my Linux server. I want to have a search engine on each site, but I want the search engine to search ONLY its site -- that is, I want the search engine on holtz.com to search only holtz.com, and the one on netgain.org to search only netgain.org.
Right now, I have this working with the HIDDEN tag in the form on each site. Let's take holtz.com. If you conduct a search at holtz.com, it searches only holtz.com. But the search page you see (search.html in the /etc folder) offers searches to BOTH sites, because both sites have been indexed. What I'm trying to figure out is this: Is there a way a visitor could enter search terms at holtz.com and see the results on a search.html page that continues to offer only searches of holtz.com, while somebody else searching netgain.org would see a DIFFERENT html page (maybe search1.html) that is configured only to allow searches of netgain.org? Thanks! Shel Reply: <http://www.mnogosearch.org/board/message.php?id=4066> ___________________________________________ If you want to unsubscribe send "unsubscribe general" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
