I looked over our various FAQs and found both a wealth of information
and understandably, quite a bit of overlap. So, I'm proposing that we
consolidate our FAQs into a single FAQ both to save ourselves from
having to list out multiple FAQ links in places like the sidebar as
well as to save landing page and wiki users from having to figure out
which FAQ to go to when they have a question or want to learn more
about Chandler Project.
There appear to be 7 categories of FAQs:
1. Chandler as a Project questions (Organizational, Licensing, Open
Source)
2. Chandler as a Product questions (Target Users, Market, Product
Definition)
3. Desktop - only questions (Minimum requirements, Troubleshooting,
etc)
4. Chandler Hub questions (End-user questions)
5. Chandler Server questions (Bundle-user questions)
6. Chandler Desktop Developer questions
6. Chandler Server Developer questions
Areas ripe for consolidation
1. How do I get involved questions. Direct people to newly
consolidated Get Involved area in the Community Wiki Area?
2. Logging bugs and reporting problems. Should we just direct people
to the newly consolidated Report A Bug page?
