Last week:

 - almost finished porting Longwell trunk in synch with the latest
Sesame API (out of their svn trunk)

 - redesigned the longwell repository system to allow stackable sails
and therefore allow Banach's operators to be plugged into Longwell

 - made sure that Longwell is really decoupled from the nature of the
SAIL repositories (as it turns out, some parts of longwell assumed a
native store implementation and couldn't work with an in-memory store or
with a database-backed implementation)

 - integrated with the latest fresnel code that Ryan ported to the
latest fresnel

 - upgraded longwell to java 1.5 (since sesame requires it and since
it's now available on macosx by default it's reasonable for us to
upgrade) so removed the dependency on retroweaver

 - upgraded to the latest jetty (6.1.1) and fixed a few issues with log
duplications

 - started working on a longwell configuration for the art demo which is
the one showing the use of OWL equivalences and currently works only
with Longwell1. This will be the first showcase of Banach-enabled
smooshing in the new Longwell.

this week:

 - finish porting longwell and testing all the functionalities against
the latest sesame, both memory and native stores.

 - finish the art demo using DWell-like fully-ajax-powered client-side
include and a radically different look&feel to show the configurability
of the current longwell plus good looking fresnel lenses for the art pieces.

 - implement the Banach's smoosher's query rewriting part to complete
smooshing.

 - use Andrew's longwell bench + YourKit + FireBug to stress-test
Longwell+Banach performance and profile hotspots on both client and
server side.
