Hi David,

Well, something odd was going on, though I am not sure what it was.

I am serving the Timeline and Exhibit files locally (so I can make
changes easily) and had run ant on the directory to rebuild the
bundle.js file. This resulted in the 400+ kb file I was seeing. I
couldn't find anything obviously wrong, so I exported the source from
your SVN repo and moved my changes over. This time when I ran ant I
get a MUCH reduced file size (about 136 KB). Looking at the build.xml
file for the projects, all I can think of is that I must have had a
cache file or something else stuck in one of the source
subdirectories that got pulled in to the build. Now I can start
looking elsewhere for improvements to load times.

Also, thanks for the heads up on the "net" tab in Firebug. When I
didn't see it in my browser, it was a tip off that my Firebug was out
of date. I've upgraded and can now look at all the cool performance
stats!

Thanks,

Scott
