Hi,

first i'd like to say thank you for that wonderful tool. I've already
archived some "Aaaahs" and "Ohhhs" as i showed this to my friends. :-)

A few days ago i started playing with exhibit and are very impressed
by all the features and possibilities. I build my own "testsuite"; a
special (german) booklist which you can examine here:
http://dev.bildcontext.org/geobib/myphabib/

It gets it's data directly from a google spreadsheet as described in
your wiki. Most things work fine but there are some issues (not only)
with the configuration. Maybe someone could help me out with the
following:

- I don't really understand what the "exhibit-control-panel" is or
does. I don't see any difference if i have it in my html or not. So
why use it?

- I would like to have all control elements (view selection, sort
field, "copy all"-button etc.) *above* the table with the results on
the left and the facets on the right. How do i archive this?

- Without defining a lens there is a link (called "link") for each
item shown in the result list . How can i show this link (or use the
url) in my customized result lens?

- My result are always show all on one page, although i've set
"ex:showall" to "false". I just want to show some results when the
page is called the first time (like SweetTools does). What am I doing
wrong?

- There are some books in my list that have the same author and title,
but a different "PhB"-number (for example: entry 4, the book "Messias"
by Gore Vidal). They are somehow grouped automatically, but i want to
show every single book. Activating the "show dublicates" option at the
top doesn't seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

- In the Timeline View i get two ribbons, the lower one scaled by
years and the upper one scaled by month. How can i change this to show
years at the upper ribbon and *decades* at the lower ribbon?

Although a i know you have other things to do than answering stupid
questions :-) i hope that someone would help me to solve some (or all)
of these issues.

Thanks in advance,
Georg
