It doesn't do anything right now. :-) We were planning to put something 
in it in the future. But that might not happen.

That's not possible right now. We're planning to make Exhibit support 
more flexible layouts. Stay tuned.

Watch out-- Exhibit is case-sensitive: "ex:showall" should be "ex:showAll".

I see... you need to assign them different IDs, e.g.,

  {  type:  "Person",
     label: "John Doe",
     id:    "John Doe #1",
     ...
  },
  {  type:  "Person",
     label: "John Doe",
     id:    "John Doe #2",
     ...
  }

When an item doesn't have an ID explicitly specified in the data file, 
its ID is the same as its label.

The "show duplicates" thing is misleading and will be removed.
