Google does seem to see the content within <noscript> on my publications 
page:

http://209.85.165.104/search?q=cache:wB02cOTR5I8J:people.csail.mit.edu/dfhuynh/publications.html+david+huynh+time+quilt&hl=en&strip=1

I wonder if the links in there get penalized, though.
