Why is it that Longwell 2.4.2 doesn't build for you? It is nice to know the Jetty and/or Maven folks fixed the repository response so Longwell 2.4 will actually run, which is the chief bug 2.4.2 fixed. > What do I do wrong? Dependency information is in pom.xml (we re-compiled Sesame 2a3 for JRE 1.4 for that version of Longwell). It's not the most readable thing, but it is a handy reference. Also, if you build a war (mvn war:war), you can see in the resulting .war's WEB-INF/lib which dependency .jar's were copied over. We have not provided an editing interface in Longwell, no. > But still, is it OK to use Sesame to update the repository directly? I am curious about your use of Longwell that requires frequent updates to existing data. I wouldn't recommend it, per se. There are layers in Longwell on top of Sesame that may (or may not, I don't recall specifics for the 2.4.2 release at the moment) get out of sync with the triple store if you modify it at that lower level. Yes, we do want to see something with editing, too. We're not there yet. > Do you plan to switch to the newest version of Sesame? We are coordinating the head of our code repository with Sesame's, so we'll already be on 2.0 final when it's released. Until then, we have no plans to release another version of Longwell. If you want to see the latest work, check the trunk of Longwell out of Subversion; but then you'll basically have to rely on Maven in your own code to use the appropriate version of Sesame. -- Ryan Lee [EMAIL PROTECTED] MIT CSAIL Research Staff http://simile.mit.edu/ http://people.csail.mit.edu/ryanlee/ _______________________________________________ General mailing list [email protected] http://simile.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/general
