Eric,

I am interested in similar functionality.   There are a couple of projects
out there that do graphing with a draggable background, including
http://www.calc5.com and http://www.fooplot.com/  but none I have seen get
data from a backend server. I was able to tie fooplot to my server via json
but never got it beyond a test app stage.
