I apologize for the back and forth here, but I think your recommendation
looks like a very good solution. I'm trying to make it work, but have run
into a snag before I even start to work with the code. I have downloaded
your code for the timeline view (
http://static.simile.mit.edu/exhibit/api/scripts/views/timeline-view.js) and
include it after the exhibit-api, and if I don't even change it yet,
everything loads properly, but when I switch to the timeline view I get an
exception "Error adding action {select Milestone Timeline view} to history.
Details: TypeError: Exhibit.TimelineView.theme has no properties." If I
comment out the inclusion of the downloaded code, things work fine (without
the enhancements, of course).
I've traced things with the javascript debugger but can't quite figure
out what else I need to do to use the included code.
Appreciation in advance for your next recommendations.
