FWIW, "SIMILE" is the name of the entire research project, not of any particular software project. So, while it is very confusing (at least to my ears) to hear people say things such as "run SIMILE on the desktop" (I would love a technology that ran a research project on a desktop ;-), I do find myself curious about *which one* of our many software projects (listed on the sidebar on the top right of our home page http://simile.mit.edu/) this thread is referring to. -- Stefano Mazzocchi Digital Libraries Research Group Research Scientist Massachusetts Institute of Technology E25-131, 77 Massachusetts Ave skype: stefanomazzocchi Cambridge, MA 02139-4307, USA email: stefanom at mit . edu ------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ General mailing list [email protected] http://simile.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/general
