Hi,

Just a quick feeback on the first minutes of use.

First : grand idea! It reminds of the logic behind the email proxy zoe
(http://zoe.sourceforge.net or here :
http://web.archive.org/web/20070420140220/http://guests.evectors.it/zoe/)
every clicks narrows the search

I was a bit taken aback by the Indexing stage (but still very fast) and
the disengage option. could it be possible to auto index as we change
folder as long as seek is active?

Works like a charm however, very powerful. The timeline looks a bit like
a gadget to me. I would have liked a chance to zoom out and see period
of time of weeks, month and years however.

Simile does not work with subfolder wich is a feature that might come in
handy and does not understand what a sent-mail folder is. It worked fine
but in reverve (the from: was always me). Not a problem, would not
really need it anyway.

I did not understand the "new messages" tick box. does it mean "unread
mail"? I would like that the disengage option hid the seek pane as well,
instead of needing to use ctrl+k.

The thread option, while a good idea, was disconcerting to use. A mail
showing on top of the list would suddenly disappear in a maze of emails
with no subject line (except for the top one) and not in chronological
order. In many cases it treated the first mail as root and all other
emails as responses which was not the case.. (EDIT: actually these
emails were imported from another email client and some may have been
damaged, so please do not treat it as a bug, my emails were at fault I
guess)

Could the result be better highlighted while in thread view to help spot
them? What about an option to sort search results chronologically (not
the root of the conversation) while in thread mode?

That'as all for now, very promising extension!
