Well, my instructor surprised the whole class on Monday. Instead of our
exam being in-class on this coming Monday, it's now a take-home exam, that
I just finished late last night.

Now that that's out of the way, the screenshots that I've been working on
are uploaded to

        http://genes.sourceforge.net/screenshots

I'm not so sure about the tab strip at the top, however, it seemed to make
sense at the time. As I've been working on projects in VB for school, I'm
wondering if we should create the interface more like an MDI application,
where there's a main window and workspace and each of the screenshots that
we've seen so far are child windows of the main. Or, do we want to make
the child windows more like these two screenshots so that each child
window is everything that a user needs to see the entire database (which
would enable the user to cycle through open databases by flipping through
the window list).

OTOH, we could write the application such that only one database can be
opened in each instance, but the user may open as many instances of the
application as needed to view all the databases at once.
