Hello,
I have created a new window with Glade: "Edit Person",
This dialogbox should open when you click on the "Add" button at the
botton of
the main window. (or when you want to edit an existing person)
I guess that we need an "Edit" button for this in the main window ?
Anyway: On top of this edit-dialog, you can edit the persons names,
add, delete or change events (like birth, ...)
Under that you have a list of spouces, and depending on the selected
spouce
you will see a list of children. (We should have a "select all spouces",
to see
all the children of the person)
To make it easier to update a person information, it would be
interesting if we could
allow drag en drop of other persons (father, mother, spouce, children)
to be
selected from the main-window (list) en dan dragged to the Add button or
something
like that ...
For only viewing a person, I think its better to create another dialog,
without all these
add, delete, edit buttons ...
