I saw a reference to genes on freshmeat, and was intrigued. I once tried
to write a genealogy program, and got about as far as a rudimentary
parser. Then I realized that my I don't think I still have the code,
though.
However, I am reasonably fluent in the STL/C++, and would welcome the
chance to develop this program. (I also have a 25,000 person gedcom that
can be used to stress test the program :)
