Hello all,

That's not completly true : I am working on a sample prog, to experiment
with glade, stl, ... This sample prog should be a very simplified version
of genes. I wanted to finnish this as far as possible before I would post
the sources (to make sure the design of classes was ok ...)
But when I tried to merge my c++ datamodel with the graphical
classes produced by glade (in c) I had some problems.
I think it will be solved faster when I just publish the sources, then when
I try to fix it myself, I'll just do that.
But understand that the sample is not finnished yet ! I still did not used
the
design pattern that Sean mentioned in one of his previous mails
(I do have the book around here, because I had that nice book on my
desk at work ;)

The sources for the working glade window, the working datamodel
is on: http://www.sesuadra.org/~gvtienen/genes/

Version 0.1 is where I try to use the class Person in the sampleView file,
but I had some problems compiling this. So If somebody can help me
with mixing c and c++, then I'll continue with the sample prog.
(I have now one week of holidays because of the Festivals in Gent (Belgium),

but because of the bad weather, I'm more at home than outside)

Kind regards,

Geert
