Hy,
I wan't to set up a socks5 server on my lokal fileserver. But every
time i wan't to connect to exernal host, i get the error message :
"Errror 0 (Unknown Error 0)"
my lokal Network is working, so i think it's all set up ok.
My lokal network looks like this:
+-----------+ Local +-----------+ Local +------------+
| 10.5.4.89 |--------| 10.5.5.14 |--------| 10.5.5.214 |
+-----------+ +-----------+ +------------+

The config of Computer 1 in (Genesis-Prefs/Socks/Filter):
---------------------------
noproxy all 10.5. - -
noproxy all - 42 -
socks5 all - - - 10.5.5.214
---------------------------
the config of the lokal server:
(Amitcp:conf/socks5.conf)
---------------------------
# A Socks5 config file
#
# environment variable lines are of the form set variable [value]
#set SOCKS5_RECVFROMANYONE
#set SOCKS5_USECLIENTSPORT
set SOCKS5_V4SUPPORT
# debugging can be turned on with:
set SOCKS5_DEBUG
#
# debugging messages can be sent to stderr with:
set SOCKS5_LOG_STDERR
#
interface 10.5. - 10.5.5.214
interface - - ppp2
auth - - -
permit - - 10.5. - -
---------------------------
for the socks-server i try'd the sochs-server comming with genesis.
but it alway's send my Amiga to India (Gurus) (because it can not get
a config file ?!)
Now i use the "Socks5.lha" archive from Aminet.
I wan't to have acces from all Lokal Computers to the external "Dial
up ppp" network. I only use Amigas in my Network with Genesis /
Netconnect V2 as TCP-Stack.
Can anyone help me, to get this setup and working ?
thanx Juergen
