Compared to an analoge two line situation (ISDN-2 has two data channels
so therefore should be compared with two analoge lines) it is cheaper !
Actually it's much cheaper as the maximum datarate with ISDN (here in
Holland) is 64K per channel whereas analoge is 34K tops (don't count
those 56K modems. There fake, 53K tops and only in one direction) so
you don't have to stay online as long as with analoge do download the
same amount of data !
