I joined this list to find out more about Genesis, which I received with my
OS3.9 & X-Surf purchase from Software Hut. I have used them many times over
the years and have had no problem worth mentioning. (I don't get the "old
woman" anymore when I call)
Now to my plans & problems. :)
I have not been able to launch the GenesisPrefs program. It looks for
Grouppager.mcc (so says snoopdos) and then refuses to run when it can't find
it.
Any help for this problem would be appreciated. I used the GenesisWizard to
configure Genesis to log onto my dialup ISP. So it works fine. Just that
little
problem.
Also I have subscribed to DSL from Ameritech.net in Michigan. They intend to
install on Jan 3, 2001. (2001... why is that number familiar) While talking
to
them I discover that they use PPPoE to deliver their service. I have not
been
able to find PPPoE mentioned in the Genesis docs or in the Genesis Arcive on
Vapor.com. My Question is, does Genesis support PPPoE or will I have to
switch to MiamiDelux.
Thanks in advance
