appp0.config is the configuration for the appp.device on unit  0.  Usually
it  looks  the  same  like  the  stuff written in the text gadget when you
change from PPP over SLIP to "Specify SANA2 Device" in the  GENESiS  prefs
config for the interfaces.

appp0.config is not saved in devs:networks/ but in ENV:SANA2/. It will  be
written  there upon setting an interface to ONLINE. No need to store it in
ENVARC: or on disk, at all.

If you use PPP you just have to set the cycle (see above) to PPP. That
does it.

Use the GENESiS-Wizard to configure a first-time connection. It  does  all
that is needed for you. It did at least for me for 5 different ISPs  intwo
different countries.
