this conferms windows users are lawsy or needs better mail programs :-)
No,this confirms that a busy network administrator, who uses Amigas(tho sadly
less and less,as they are less and less relevant),linux
pc`s(mandrake,SuSE,Caldera),windows pc`s (w95,98,NT4,w2k,me), 2 or 3 laptops
and 2 unix boxes,(not to mention multiboot machines, webserver based
appliances, and 3 different types of internet and Mail routers), depending on
whatever comes to hand and where he is sitting when he wants to check his
email or indulge in web browsing or IRC,has no time to set up irrelevant
posey signatures on over 30 different pieces of hardware and nearly as many
platforms.
p.s. oops I forgot the macs and the Psions ;)
In addition, all my company emails have the corporate disclaimer and AUP
statement by default.
here is a personal one

lesson 2:don`t assume anybody else does either:That is Impossible
Lesson 3:settle for knowing as much as you can retain, and keep asking.
The secret is not to try and know everything, just remember who or what to
ask:)
