Hello,

CIn general, coordinate data for telomere and centromere regions are estimates
only for eukaryotic genomic reference sequences. The highly repetitive nature
of these regions make them difficult if not impossible to sequence and assemble
given current technology. The locations can vary by species depending on the
native chromosome structure, but are always represented by strings of capitol
N's in consistent block lengths in the UCSC browser and have coordinates in the
track "Gap" (see the track description page http://genome.ucsc.edu -> Genome
Browser -> select clade, genome, assembly and submit -> Mapping and Sequencing
Tracks -> Gap -> click on track short label).
