If you compiled the programs yourself, please try the pre-compiled version from here (ftp) and see if it works: http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/admin/exe/ If you are already using the pre-compiled version or if that version still produced the error, please send the error statement plus details about your system (OS name/version, compiler name/version).
