Hi, I am trying to run bedToBigBed on a large (220 MiB) BED file and get
a segfault:
$ bedToBigBed segway.layered.bed hg18.chrom.sizes segway.bb
pass1 - making usageList (23 chroms): 371 millis
Segmentation fault
I don't have problems on larger files of 449 MiB. This file is unusual,
however, because it has only 575 lines, but many many blocks on each line:
$ wc segway.layered.bed
575 6900 230250499 segway.layered.bed
$ uname -a
Linux XXXXX.washington.edu 2.6.18-194.el5 #1 SMP Tue Mar 16 21:52:39 EDT
2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Can this be fixed?
