Hi,

I am currently trying to link some pdf files to some of my custom tracks
using either the "url" or "htmlUrl" tags, but here is my problem :

- using the 1st one, I really like the option of using '$$' that gets
replaced by my item name, since I have one file per element.
But I'd like to be able to jump directly to my file by clicking on the
item in the genome browser window (which doesn't seem possible), or then
at least to modify the phrase "Outside Link" to something more intuitive
related to the content of the file for the user to click... I guess I
want the extra information to be more easily available, or more obvious.

- using the second option I'm getting really close to what I want, I
like the fact that the details, or images or whatever is in my file,
appear right away (only one click)

However (please tell me I'm wrong), I can't have multiple files, all of
the elements are going to display the code of the one url specified in
the htmlUrl tag in the 'track' line.
So I have been trying different things using anchors, but it doesn't
seem to work. My html file loads and displays properly underneath the
clone details, but always at the top of the html code.
Is there a way to effectively use an 'anchoring system' using htmlUrl ?

Thanks a lot.

Regards,

Jessica
