I am having trouble visualizing the bed file when I import the data for Genome Graph.
I get the following message ' Table Import in Progress' and then nothing happens. Let me know when this issue will be fixed. You can use the url attribute (described here: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTracksHelp.html#TRACK) to associate more information with each item in the track: url=<external_url> - Defines a URL for an external link associated with this track. This URL will be used in the details page for the track. Any '$$' in this string this will be substituted with the item name. There is no default for this attribute. As you can see, the url attribute depends on the name field from the BED file. I suppose you could use shorter names that link to the correct ID on your external link, but that doesn't seem like it would really solve your problem. -- Brooke Rhead UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 01/29/09 12:35, Ramdas,Latha wrote: > hi Brooke > > The alternate option by making the custom track in the Genome Browser > and then importing the data into Genome Graph seem to work. However, in the attached example file, the Proble ID is the item that is linked to the annotation data. the Label on the graph is too long and hence not in positions corresponding to the continuous track. I know I can turn off seeing the label on the graph but then I do not have the link to the annotations. Is there anyway, I can make the marks for the datapoint as the links and be able to click the marks to get the annotations. > > Thanks for your help. > > Latha Ramdas > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Brooke Rhead [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2009 1:49 PM > To: Ramdas,Latha > Cc: '[email protected]'; 'Sunkara, Prasad'; 'Muchandi, Veerabhadrappa'; G, > Chittybabu > Subject: Re: [Genome] Genome Graph on UCSC browser > > Hello Latha, > > The bugs that were found in the Agilent CGH244A track have been > resolved, and the updated track was made available last Friday (1/23). > I tried uploading the sample data you included on the regular site (not > the test site).
