Hello again Erin,
We have finally figured out what was causing the gene you mention to
display incorrectly, and we have corrected it. As you know, dark blue
entries correspond to:
Dark blue -- transcript has been reviewed or validated by either the
RefSeq, SwissProt or CCDS staff
The problem was that transcripts that were included in this set because
they were validated by CCDS were left out of the group that received
dark blue coloring. We have corrected this in the current version, and
have amended the process so that it will not happen in future updates of
UCSC Genes.
Thank you for your patience and for pointing out the error. We
apologize for the inconvenience.
