Good Evening Jeremy:

What genome assembly are you looking at ?

At the gateway page:
http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgGateway

After you have selected the genome assembly of interest,
note the "sequences" link in the first line at the beginning
of the description. That will take you to a list of
chromosomes for that assembly. For example, Human Mar 2006/Hg18:
http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTracks?db=hg18&chromInfoPage=

If the is a chrUn listed there (which there is not for this hg18
genome assembly) click on its name and the browser will open
up on chrUn.

You can also enter "chrUn" in the position/search entry box
of the genome browser. If the genome assembly has no chrUn
it will not be found.
