I would like to repeat the caution that genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu is our
internal development/test server. They are not meant for public use.
Most of its content may not have gone through our QA process. And the H1N1
genome(s) are under active development/changes.

Fan.

Subject: Re: [Genome] Viruses in UCSC genome browser

Hello,

The SARS virus assembly has been moved to our test server:
http://genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu
Click through to the main gateway page and set clade=other. The SARS
browser is in the genome pull down menu. Other viruses are also in the
list (H1N1 swine influenza, etc.).

Some of the SARS data is available by ftp:
ftp://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/scApr2003/

We do not fully support all virus data in the from the Downloads server,
but many do have data in the Table Browser that can be extracted.

Thanks,
