Good Morning: Please read the documentation in the source tree files: src/product/README.* about using the CGI binaries in a location other than in the Apache cgi-bin/ directory.
You can place the binaries anywhere you want to that you have permission to use CGI binaries there. You must name that directory cgi-bin/ but it can be anywhere, it doesn't have to be the Apache cgi-bin/ directory. Look for the stand-alone isPcr program in the source tree directory: src/isPcr/ --Hiram Daofeng Li wrote: > Hi dear list members, > > i wanna to install the current version of blat in a linux box under my html > directory, under which has a dirctory name CGI can run cgi scripts. > does it possible to install webblat to the CGI directory? for i see the > default form of webblat's action set to "../cgi-bin/webBlat", while i have > no permission to access the /var/www/cgi-bin directory. > > another question, does in silicon PCR have a standalone package for download > and build on own server? > > Thanks in advance. > > Best Regards! > _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
