Hello Steve, We are working as quickly as possible to add tracks to the new assembly. As you probably know, some are developed internally and others come from external sources.
Meanwhile, you are welcome to take any track in hg18 that you are interested in lift it to hg19, then added the result back as a custom track. Instructions for using liftOver: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTracksHelp.html#Convert Thanks, Jennifer ------------------------------------------------ Jennifer Jackson UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group ----- "Steve Lefever" <[email protected]> wrote: > From: "Steve Lefever" <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Cc: "Jo Vandesompele" <[email protected]>, "Jasmien Hoebeeck" > <[email protected]>, "Filip Pattyn" > <[email protected]> > Sent: Monday, August 17, 2009 5:52:46 AM GMT -08:00 US/Canada Pacific > Subject: [Genome] Limited number of tracks for hg19 > > Dear Sir/Madam, > > I noticed that UCSC released a new build (GRCh37 - hg19) for Homo > sapiens, but that the number of tracks available for this build is > still > limited (eg. no SNPs, no CpG islands, ...).
