Hi, I have a few questions regarding a "Direct Sync" installation based on notes:
http://genomewiki.ucsc.edu/index.php/Browser_Installation a, hg.conf references the location of the /gbdb directory, however the Direct Sync installation does not require the download of assembly dumps. Is the solution to just creating the empty directory? b, hgcentral is downloaded with the other required database tables. Later in the document, however, there is a reference to Set up the "hgcentral" tables. Isn't this action done already during the first download of the hgcentral db? It is already part of the database structure. c, there is reference to having to add genbank - is there a url for this?
