Hello Hiram,
I am trying to launch our mirror which is running linux on an x86_64 machine.
I have downloaded the binary files to $CGI-BIN folder. When I access the the
browser, all I see is the left hand table (list). After clicking on the genome
browser link, I get an internal server error.I checked the apache server log
and saw the following error message.
invalid format in config file ./hg.conf:1: \xff\xfe#, referer:
http://192.168.150.199/[Mon Dec 13 21:04:52 2010] [error] [client
192.168.150.85] Premature end of script headers: hgGateway, referer:
http://192.168.150.199/
Does this message indicate a problem with the hg.conf file or is it a problem
with the hgGateway binary. Any help you can give me would be greatly
appreciated.
