Hi there,

I sent an email to Lynn Brazil, she kindly suggested to
get in touch to you.

I am a MS student, bioinformatician candidate and working
on genome assembly nowadays.

I want to have some hints about genome assembly, of course
i have done and doing researches, but since i got stucked
with using various programs, it would be awesome if i
could get some instructions.
Right now i have some sff files generated from 454 seq..
While searching online, i found celera is a common used
program.I did the converting to frg, installed celara and
ran for first turn. I got some results but somehow can not
read output. sourgeforge has some documentation but i can
not understand or apply clearly. i sent an email to celera
co., no respond. i contacted roche, asked if i can get a
copy of Newbler but again no respond.

after that i used cap3, but while i can not it read the
.qual file, again i can not rely on the results.

well, as you can see i am doing some work without knowing
it for sure. it might be asked to you often, but what
should i do? any other programs, or any hint on presents?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you..
