Dear UCSC genomic team,
My name is Orly Goldstein and I work at Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, with
Dr. Greg Acland, in the field of Canine genomics and genetics.
It came to my attention that the CanFam 3.0 is about to be publically
available, and CanFam1.0 will be removed.
I was wondering if the SNPs database that is available in CanFam1.0 will be
incorporated in this version of CanFam3.0?
The SNP data is very important and it would have severe consequences if this
information won’t be available in the UCSC website.
It would be very helpful to have it incorporated in the CanFam3.0 version.
Right now we are going back and forth from CanFam1.0 and 2.0, which is not
convenient to say the least.

Thanks,

Sincerely,

Orly Goldstein
