Hello Jiangning Li,
Many of the fields in our tables are describe in the table schema. In
your example, you can look up the exonFrames field by going to the table
browser (http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTables) and selecting:
group: Genes and Gene Prediction Tracks
track: RefSeq Genes
table: refGene
and then clicking on the "describe table schema" button. The description
listed for the exonFrames field is as follows:
"Exon frame {0,1,2}, or -1 if no frame for exon"
