I thank your colleague for recommending us.  We would love it
if we could use the Browser software to offer annotations on
absolutely everything that has been sequenced.

Unfortunately, our funding covers primarily vertebrate genomes,
though we do host a few of the major model organisms.  I agree
that pombe is not exactly a minor organism, and it turns out
that there is a group at the NIH who have used our software to
build a browser on S. pombe.  We cannot vouch for it because we
have not done any quality control on that instance, and I note
that they are running a version of the software that is quite
old (v130.  The current version is v248).  Nevertheless, perhaps
it may be of some use to you:
