Dear UCSC Team, I am trying to create refGene.txt file for my bacteria, to put it into GS Reference Mapper of 454. So i downloaded kent source and tried to compile it.
When i try to compile it i gave an error gcc: /usr/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.a: No such file or directory i have searched every where but this libmysqlclient.a file is not present my /usr/lib/mysql/ path all softwares like, mysql-server mysql-client mysql-devel and it's related libraries are installed through rpm repository as i am using fedora 14 system Now. what should i do?
