Dear Sir/Madam,
We are now conducting neuropeptide researches on tree shrews. To do so,
we need a neuropeptide precursor database, but we are not the specialist in the
genome field. We have two questions regarding the database construction from
the genome published on USUC website:
1) Is June 2006 2X assembly of the Sorex araneus (shrew) genome a full
genome of just from mitochodrial?
2) No matter it is a full genome or not, is it possible to construct a
full neuropeptide precursor database using BLAST search on this genome listed
in USUC website?
Your answer will be greatly important for our work. We look forward to
