Hi Tomas, You can retrieve this information from the Table Browser (from main page, click on "Tables" on the top blue navigation bar). Make the following selections:
clade: Mammal genome: Human assembly: hg19 (or hg18) group: Neandertal Assembly and Analysis track: S SNPs table: ntSssSnps (click on 'describe table schema' for more info on the table, and also the track description) region: select 'position' and type in your chromosomal position of interest output format: all fields from selected table output file: enter a file name to save your results to a file, or leave blank to display results in the browser Click 'get output'. For Human SNPs, set group = Variation and Repeats. For more information on how to use the Table Browser, please refer to our help pages: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTablesHelp.html Feel free to contact us again at [email protected] if you have any further questions. --- Luvina Guruvadoo UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 10/25/2011 8:03 PM, Tomas Lovera wrote: > > > > ________________________________ > From: Tomas Lovera<[email protected]> > To: "[email protected]"<[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, October 25, 2011 8:51:56 PM > Subject: Re: Neandertal and Denisova Assembly and Analysis Tracks. > > > Hi Dear, > > Can you please let me know how to get the Human, Neanderthal and Denisova SNP > alleles for a determined Chromosome position, using the USCS Browser Genome? > > Thanks, Tomas > > > ________________________________ > From: Tomas Lovera<[email protected]> > To: "[email protected]"<[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, September 30, 2011 12:45:07 AM > Subject: Neandertal and Denisova Assembly and Analysis Tracks. > > > Dear, > > Can you please let me know whether the Neandertal and Denisova Assemblies and > Analysis tracks are also available as part of the February 2009 GRCh37/hg 19 > reference sequence? > > To access the Neandertal and Denisova Assemblies and Analysis tracks > information, please click in the follopwing links: > > 1.- UCSC Genome and Bioinformatics Home Page > 2.- Neandertal > 3.- Neandertal Alleles in Human/ChimpCoding Non-synonymous Differences in > Human Lineage: ........ > 4.- All Neandertal Assembly and Analysis Tracks > 5.- Configure Tracks on UCSC Genome Browser > 6.- Neandertal Assembly and Analysis > 7.- Denisova Assembly and Analysis > > Thanks, Tomas Lovera, > _______________________________________________ > Genome maillist - [email protected] > https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
