Another place to look is to go to the HGVS website or to the LOVD list 
http://www.lovd.nl/2.0/index_list.php and see if there is a Locus 
Specific Database with information on your gene.  Most LOVD's will export 
their variants as a custom track to the UCSC browser for ease of viewing. 
The curators of the LSDB's are experts on the genes they curate and are a 
good source of information as well.
