Hi Shamsher, It sounds like you are referring to these sequences: http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/hg19/encodeDCC/referenceSequences/
I don't see a reference to "hg19full", but I believe it refers to the regular GRCh37 reference sequence, which is what we display in the Genome Browser (we call it GRCh37/hg19): http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgGateway?org=Human&db=hg19 The URL that Hiram provided is for GRCh37. If you have further questions, please contact us again at [email protected]. -- Brooke Rhead UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 7/6/12 9:02 AM, Hiram Clawson wrote: > Good Morning Shamsher: > > You can read about the Human Genome Project at: > > http://www.genome.gov/page.cfm?pageID=10001772 > http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK21086/ > > You can pick up the sequence from this directory: > > ftp://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/hg19/bigZips/ > > --Hiram > > On 7/6/12 8:32 AM, shamsher jagat wrote: >> I have read in literature / encode that there are reference genomes such as >> hg19 male, female, full, with mt and so on.
