Dear Madam or Sir,

I am a very fond user of the UCSC genome browser. Recently however, the S.
cerevisiae assembly SacCer1 has been removed from your website. This had
extensive consequences, as links from a number of websites are no longer
functional, a vast amount of data mapped to SacCer1 can no longer be displayed
on USCS (re-mapping or LiftOver is not practical for such a number of different
data) and all saved sessions are completely lost.

May I enquire why this assembly was made unavailable on USCS? I would be
immensely relieved if this action was revoked. Please advise me on who I should
best contact about this issue.

Best wishes,
Carolin
