Hi Milana, If there are more hits than one every 15 seconds coming from your IP, our servers will start to delay responses to the IP (see http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQblat.html#blat2). You may also see a message saying that your IP will no longer be serviced due to exceedingly high traffic. The delay will slowly decay away if the hits slow down or stop.
Could you verify your IP address? I see that the IPs 132.77.4.43 and 132.77.4.129, both from weizmann.ac.il, currently have large delays. You may also want to consider downloading blat and running it locally: http://genome.ucsc.edu/FAQ/FAQblat.html#blat3. -- Brooke Rhead UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 7/27/12 8:50 AM, Milana Frenkel-Morgenstern wrote: > Dear Sirs, > > I run a script yesterday to build alignments for novel transcripts for mouse > and fly using BLAT. > The scripts are waiting for a necessary time between queries. > > Could it be that the traffic from Weizmann has been closed? or from my server? > > Unfortunately, today I cannot receive any results. > I am double checking now if my queries were two frequent, and I will fix any > problem. > > > Thank you very much for your quick response. > Sincerely, Milana. > > _______________________________________________ > Genome maillist - [email protected] > https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome > _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
