OK sure. I have now finished bootstrapping, but just as I was going to
emerge -e, findutils is now breaking.

gcc  -O2 -pipe  -L/Library/Gentoo/lib -L/Library/Gentoo/usr/lib
-L/Library/Gentoo/lib -L/Library/Gentoo/usr/lib -Wl,-search_paths_first
-o find  ftsfind.o ./libfindtools.a ../lib/libfind.a
