But what are the advantages? i.e. do I change the way I do anything now? I basically took care of it now since I'm just rebuilding this machine, and didn't want to wait until the 2005.0 stages were released, so I'm not entirely sure what I get out of moving to 2005.0. Forgive me if I sound dumb... I've been out of of the Gentoo amd64 loop for a few months since my wireless card died, and I no longer really cared until I could rebuild my laptop.
