Nope... There is something fishy with the ebuild for them. I will try using the .run package from the nvidia site and see what happens.
My system appart from one or two svn repository's I keep current (amarok and kopete) is bog standard... BTW xorg logs show Nothing... It get's to loading GLX extension... Does.. doesn't log any areas, and dies... not too usefull for debugging purposes.
