Hi all,
My current kde is: 3.5 (rc1)
About 2 days ago, after i did an emerge sync, i did "emerge --update world
-pv" which gave me:
[ebuild U ] kde-base/kdelibs-3.5.0 [3.5.0_rc1] -acl +alsa +arts +cups
-debug -doc -jpeg2k -kdeenablefinal -kerberos -openexr +spell +ssl +tiff
+xinerama -zeroconf 15,020 kB
---- <snip -- many other kde packages follow>
However, when I did the actual emerge, i get many:
No such file `kdelibs-3.5.0.tar.bz2'.
... and then aborts
My mirrors are:
GENTOO_MIRRORS="ftp://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/Gentoo
http://mirror.isp.net.au/pub/gentoo/ ftp://mirror.isp.net.au/pub/gentoo/

Does it normally take so long for the mirrors to sync? or am i doing something
strange here?
By the way, my /etc/portage/package.unmask includes:
>=kde-base/kdelibs-3.5_beta1
---- <snip -- plus all the other kde packages>
