After some searches, it's still unclear to me whether my CPU, an AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+ (socket AM2) supports AMD-V hardware virtualization. Some sites say that only opterons have virtualization support, others say that all AM2 CPUs have virtualization. Even the AMD site is not clear (to me at last). Is there a way (eg, by looking into /proc/cpuinfo or somewhere else) to find out for sure? Sorry if I missed something obvious.
