I share the sentiment that 'computing'-- actually getting in the shell of your choice and just hacking. It is the most enjoyable feature of Gentoo. If only the rest of my IT team felt the same way, the d4mn office would run better.

Okay, thanks for the heads up. I won't go there, but rather stick with the
binary drivers and wait.
